2019 was a year in which BBR released ‘Fire’ (4th studio album), played more instore shows than ever before, hit the sale charts with our non-hyped album promotion and we had a focused run of shows to support the album release. We rounded it off in the best way we thought is possible: in a sold out Doornroosje, packed with saints and sinners that sang & drank along. Hooking up with our friends in Copperhead County to play ‘The Weight’ by The Band proved to be a fine idea. Thanx for your support, CC! 🙂 Yeah, 28/12/2019 sure was a good one.
Someone captured our experimental rendition of ‘Bright Light City’ on video – experimental, because we ALL switched instruments! In 2020 we will be jamming and working on new songs. We can’t help it! The songs need to get out, shaped up, chewed on, thrown away, rediscovered and all that. This will be our main focus. Don’t worry: we’ll be playing a couple of shows, but there’s also some work behind the scenes that we’ll be working on.
